Interest
I thoroughly enjoy reading good books on a variety of subjects from crime, drama and fiction as well as architectural magazines I enjoy driving and going on day trips for sightseeing. Taking photos of landmarks and unusual elements while travelling is one of my favourite pastimes. At other times I like to catch up with friends over a cup of coffee or going to the movies with family and friends. I am an easy going but serious in work kind of a person with determination to continuously learn from my surroundings and experiences. I can work individually and in groups as well with dedication and focus to achieve my targets

Architecture Interior Design
As an Architect and Managing Director of my company I have several responsibilities which I manage on day to day basis, such as meeting with clients and discussing the design brief, preparing conceptual design proposals along with approximate project costs to getting the final detailed drawings made. Initial visit to the site helps to assess the views and fabric of the neighbourhood which is taken in consideration while designing the project. Upon finalising the proposal with the client, the detailed plans are prepared in coordination with consulting engineers for structure, electrical and other services needed for a complete set of drawings.
  • I have won several Military-building and interior design projects in competitions and provided complete services for the same from preparing the set of tender and execution drawings, bill of quantities to site supervision and project coordination.
  • During this time, I have had the opportunity to design a variety of projects including Office, Commercial, Institutional and Residential Buildings. I also provide top supervision for all the projects till their completion and detailed supervision in case of client’s requirement, liaising with the client and the contractor to ensure a smooth construction process. While designing the projects the aim is to use mostly local building materials and provide energy efficient spaces integrating modern design and technologies.
  • I’ve also provided Interior design services for projects including Safe houses, Office blocks, Officers’ Mess and Residences. Employing innovative design concepts and procedures, providing technical support at site thus completing the project with accuracy and in the specified time.
As a Senior Architect, I led a team of about twelve people including engineers, surveyors and draftsmen working on various projects to produce detail drawings after the design was finalised with the client. My responsibilities included discussing the design brief with the client (mainly the oil sector), planning the project accordingly and finalising the design after presentation to the client. Preparing project specifications was also part of my job description. I attended meetings with the senior management to discuss and communicate technical and architectural content and visited the sites during construction to make sure that the plans were followed properly and if needed, made alteration according to the site conditions.
As Junior Architect, I worked on several projects, preparing the final design presentation and producing detail and technical drawings for both building and interior design projects. Visits to the site were frequent, learning on the way to deal with site issues, expedite the project at site, directing the contractors to follow the drawings and help explain technical design details where needed
Since the time since I arrived in the UK, apart from working on projects back in my country, I’ve been assisting in our business in various roles such as administration and stock taking, stock procurement and replenishing. Working and devising plans and help implementing ideas to promote the business as well.
